Sports:
I like watching hockey. My favorite pro team is the Colorado Avalanche. I really like women's hockey. Get out there and kick butt, sisters!
I like baseball but I prefer to go to a live game. I used to go see the Rockies a lot but my work schedule and lack of money haven't let me do that recently. When I have grandkids I'll take them to games. My son's only 18, though, so he should wait a while!
I also like soccer and watching Australian football sometimes. I'm not too keen on NHL football. Too much hype. Sometimes watching a college game is fun.
Music:
Same stuff as I've been listening to for the past 40 years, plus some new additions!
I have lots of favorite movies. What the heck is the last movie I saw anyway?? I'm too busy to recall. And too tired. And have CRS.
TV:
Old rerun sci-fi type shows like Star Trek and the Twilight Zone and Outer Limits. More recently, I enjoy crime dramas like Law and Order, Crossing Jordan, CSI, NCIS, Saving Grace, In Plain Sight. Nature and science shows. Shows about the supernatural, such as Ghost Hunters. Don't EVER fall asleep watching that!
Books:
I love anything by classic horror masters like H.P. Lovecraft, Poe, Ambrose Bierce. More recently, I enjoy Stephen King. Over the past year I read Lost beneath The Surface by a unique author named Lily Strange. I also read Sleeping Murder by Agatha Christie. I am currently reading Duma Key and The Kite Runner.
Heroes/Idols:
I admire anybody who tries to change the world for the better or who just tries to be a decent person.
