I'm a junior in college, majoring in English, so my favorite thing to do is read, of course! I'm pretty much a bookworm, although I also love singing and acting - especially when I can combine the two and perform in musicals! Being under that spotlight in front of an audience is absolutely terrifying, but there's no better feeling than being applauded after it's all over. I also enjoy just hanging out with my friends on the beach or playing video games (Smash Brothers!), volleyball, or ultimate frisbee. I also love to travel, although I haven't had much opportunity to yet. The best place I ever went was Paris, France, and I can't wait to go back. Someday I'd like to go to Spain and Latin America, too, and put some of my Spanish to good use.
Music:
I listen to a wide range of music, mostly thanks to my dad, who has awesome musical taste. But generally I prefer classic rock, modern rock, and alternative, anything from Joni Mitchell, Simon and Garfunkel, the Byrds, and the Beatles, to Feist, Ted Leo, the Fratellis, and Rilo Kiley. I never used to like hip hop that much, but it's been growing on me.
Movies:
I am a huge movie watcher! Some of my favorites are Harry Potter, anything Disney, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pride and Prejudice, Amelie, The Science of Sleep, and Sabrina. The last movie I saw was "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" and it was soooo good! If you haven't seen it yet, I definitely recommend it.
Books:
I have way too many favorite books to name... I love 'em all.
