Hi there, I am so sorry I haven't been by. So much has been happening! I'm not working at my j-o-b anymore due to my workman's comp, so I've decided to take advantage of that and work my business! My girlfriend and I got into a car accident, leaving both of us sore. We're both better now, thank goodness! Now, I'm moving as well, so as you can see, it's been pretty crazy in my life! Dexter Morgan is a blood spatter expert for the Miami P.D. and assists with basic crime scene investigation work. While not a sworn police officer, Dexter has more privledges than the average citizen and is privy to lots of classified information. Dexter uses this information to fuel his bloodlust which might be described as the only emotion he experiences. As a child Dexter was discovered by Miami P.D. officer Harry Morgan locked in a blood soaked trailer with his dead mother and brother. Much of the details of Dexter's rescue was kept secret by Harry after he adopted Dexter and raised him as his son along with his daughter Debra Morgan. During Dexter's teenage years Harry realized Dexter had dark tendencies and a near unsatisiable bloodlust. This was categorized by Dexter's utter lack of emotion and feeling. Harry recognized these as tendencies of a serial killer and with understanding love and compassion developed a way for Dexter to channel them called "Harry's Code." He also established healthier outlets for the blood rage such as frequent hunting trips.
