My name is Gloria Angel & I was born with Cerebral Palsy. I’ve never let my Cerebral Palsy stop me from doing anything. I even graduated from the University of Texas in 2000 with a BA in Journalism. It took 12 yrs., but I did it. Graduation day was a proud day for my family & me. Not only did I get my diploma, but I walked across stage to receive it. For people with a disability getting work is very hard, but I will persevere until I am employed. I am helping MDA raise funds. They helped me get my first computer when I was a little girl. The computer enabled me to do my own homework and I am sure that helped me to get through college.

    I am using Yuwie to help raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy Association.  I created this Yuwie ID so I can turn over all of the money this ID makes to MDA on the day of the teleathon in Austin Texas.  It has always been a dream of mine to meet Jerry Lewis.  I watched the teleathon every year since I was a child.   I am 37 years old now and at least I found a way to help.  I use Yuwie to publish childrens stories I write.  The income I make on my personal yuwie  help me make ends meet.  Due to my disability I have not been able to get a job in journalism.
