I am a single mum of one child ( her father was killed) I am at college training as a chef a good chef that is. I have one teenage child as said who is looking forward to the move. The move? well thats the move to Australia !!! Yes I'm out of here soon as I can be and down under here we come. I am a very cultured woman with many visits under my belt to many countries, but saying this I have never had the pleasure yet of Australia. So why would you want to go there if you never visited before? Simple I love to try new things and im not affraid to go but I am terrifed of staying in the UK. Wish me luck x The pictures above are from when I worked as a volunteer in Africa with Born Free, Shamwari game reserve and orphans with AIDS last year. I helped resuce 3 lions from a french circus, built a playground for the orphans and filled it with toys and books. I write poetry and all my royalties have always gone to charity, such as the stroke foundation, dogs for the blind, children with cancer the homeless and many many more.

Well, good to see you're still with us, Bird. Things are fine over here. A little too cold for my liking, but that's winter for you. Room is currently vacant (apart from storage use), but no bed in there since ex-wife finally took it back. There's a single bed and a fold-out sofa-bed though.
Friday evening in Narangba, and Margaret, the Love of My Life, has gone out to dinner without me.
The Library staff at Sandgate, where she has been acting team leader for more than a year, has invited her to a farewell dinner, which is nice. Except that I miss her heaps and she has only been away half an hour!
I am having some struggles settling into a life without teaching, but my psychiatrist has told me quite bluntly that I have to really cut down on my activities or he will have to take drastic measures. He then told me just what those measures are, and I am definitely taking his advice! I neither want to go into hospital nor to go back onto medication, so I will be just doing a little Yuwie-ing, a little writing, a little family togethering, and a little holidaying.

Saving animals, I have worked for BornFree in south Africa where I helped rescue 3 lions from a french circus which was filmed on GMTV and showed in the uk.
My interest at the moment is saving to move to Australia and finding a good man to take with me???? Are you out there???
Once inOz I will continue to save as many animals as I can and show people the way mother earth wants her beautiful creatures kept, IN THE WILD. Animals only have us as their voice and without us they have no chance of survival. Today alone there would have been 1000s of animals killed through neglect or tortured for their fur, lets STOP this from happening guys. Baby seals clubed to death, whales, dolphins, lions, monkeys the list goes on and on and we the people who care sit and do nothing. The earth is dying around us and all we think about is money!!!! we are came with nothing we all go with nothing so why the hell are we living everyday to gather as much cash as we can? If you have a lifestyle then live it but never forget where you came from and always do something that would make your mother proud.........GO AND SAVE AN ANIMAL today before it's too late.

I love to read stories about people who have come from nothing and has made a real difference in their lives. I read a book once which gave me the courage to pack up house and move 300 hundred miles away from my family, so I could give my daughter a better start in life.
Heroes/Idols:
My daughter.....................she inspires me to keep trying in this sad, sad world of neglect. She is a strong girl who keeps me grounded. She has had a tough life with her father dying so young at 30 years old in a car crash. My daughter has given me a purpose in life to carrying on pushing forward. I want to provide her with a sound knowlege of life and know she will be able to survive whatever life throws her.
