Since I've raised (and still raising a child) with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum
Disorder, I am interested in bringing awareness of the irreversible brain damage that alcohol causes in the unborn child.

One of the greatest thrills of my life was to play the Pipe Organ (King of Instruments) and pass Royal Conservatory of Toronto exams in grades 7-9, 2 of them with honors!

Books:
I have read very few books since I started raising children, because I felt I had to be too aware of what they were doing to concentrate. I am reading books to my daughter (granddaughter we're raising). Her favorite books last year were written by Judy Blume. She also has enjoyed Sarah Plain and Tall books and movies, as well as Anne of Green Gables.
Heroes/Idols:
The Amazing Kreskin, Diane Bish, Martin Luther King, T.C. Douglas, all who have endured abuse of any kind.
