Sports:
I have followed Man Utd since school. I'm not a passionate supporter, I just like to see a football game played with skill. I liked to watch David Beckham when he was at Real Madrid, and hope to see some of his matches now he's with LA Galaxy.
I like to watch athletics, but enjoy taking part more than watching it. I'm very competitive which is probably not always a good thing!
Books:
Just finished reading Arthur & George by Julian Barnes. An excellent read, very captivating story line. If you've read any Sherlock Holmes this is a book for you as it is based on Sir Arthur Conon Doyle's life.
Other books I like are Milan Kundera's Immortality, Anthony Burgess' Wanting Seed and numerous books by Jack Kerouac.
Reading The Master & Margarita by Bulgakov.
Heroes/Idols:
I've had a lot of heroes - in running, literature and music- but I think the act of looking up to someone like that limits what you can achieve yourself. So, go out and be your own hero!
