Hi Lily,

It’s good to hear from you again. I understand you were busy with moving to your new apartment , that you didn’t have time to reply to me. It’s ok.

The weather must be cold and snowing in your place. Over here where I am at, the weather is cold but at least it does not snow at all. I still have to wear a thick coat, mitten, and a beanie hat to keep myself warm in the morning time.

By the way, I forgot my cat outside, and now he is frozen like an ice… kidding.

Take care,
~Kevin

Hi Lily

This is Santa speaking to you from the North Pole. I haven’t finished making your Christmas gift yet because all my elves went on strike. However, I’m working around the clock making toys at my toy shop, and hopefully by Christmas Day I should have it completed. In the meantime I want to wish you “Merry Christmas”… HOHOHO..

Hi Lily,

Thank for the comment, and most importantly, thanks for telling me I’m not crazy. However, I am crazy to wear the cat as my hat. Hehe…

Since the weather in Xi’an is cold and icy now, do you wear something over your head too?

Hi Lily,

What do you like to drink to relax yourself? Tea? Soda? Beer? I like coffee and orange juice.

Hi Lily

It has been a long day for me, and now I am ready to hop to bed. Good night everybody, and by all means, please wake me up if I snore loudly. Hehe…

Hi Lily,

One of the things I admired about China’s big cities like Guangzhou and Shanghai, is that there are plenty of taxis and inexpensive public mass transportations (i.e., buses, subways), which means it would not be necessary to own a car. Every time I come to China, I never have problem in getting transportation to get from point A to point B. I even took a motorcycle taxi before, but I would not recommend foreigners to try it.

Just dropping by to say “hi” to you. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Lily,

Do you ride an electric scooter, bicycle, motor scooter or any other vehicle as your personal transportation, or do you prefer to take mass transportation? Although I have cars and motorcycles at home, I prefer to take the train to go to work. I usually take naps or read a book on the train.

Hi Lily,

Part of the Chinese tradition is to drink soup everyday. When you go back to visit your parents, do they make you drink soup? Everytime I go to my parent’s or my grandparent’s home, they always forced me to drink their soup. They tried to convince me that it is good for the health, but I don’t really believe it.

Hi Lily,

I am happy to see your comment. I had problems with my internet connection too. Sometimes I get connection, and sometimes I get an interruption of service. By the way, is it snowing in your area now? We are having cold rains in our area. I have to wear several layers of clothing before I go outside.

Hi Lily,

You will be going to your parent’s home in Guowanchunjie to celebrate the Chinese Spring Festival. I will visit my parents in Los Angeles to celebrate over there. The Chinese Spring Festival is equivalent to the American Thanksgiving Holiday where mountains of food are the centerpiece of the holiday festivity. I already gained some weight from Thanksgiving, and with Christmas and Chinese Spring festival approaching, I might become as big as an elephant. Hehe…

Hi Lily,

May you always have happy days ahead of you. Do you intend to stay in Xi’an to find a job or do you plan to move to the big cities like Shanghai?

~Kevin

Hi Lily,

I know you will eventually find a job that is suitable for you. I am sure with hard work and perseverance, you will be able to find one. Please do not give up. In the meantime, take the opportunity to enjoy each day, because once you started on your new job, you might not have time for it. Do you programming work?

Hi Lily,

Thanks for the comment. I hope you be happy too. How about if I could make you smile, then could you be happy? When I see a cow riding a scooter, that makes me smile too. How was your weekend? Did you have an opportunity to go anywhere during the weekend? I hope to hear from you.
