HOW DID YOU GET HERE?

An interesting survey...

We're all using multiple ways of getting referrals.  Do me a favor and answer this one question - let's see what has actually worked...

---->What EXACTLY made you decide to sign up with Yuwie?  Was it through a manual surfing site?   Was it an ad that you saw somewhere - if so, where?  Was it through a friend - if so, what exactly did they say to get you to sign up?   Was it something else - if so, what?  What was the final deciding factor that made you say "YES!  I'll do this"?

OK so that's 6 questions (grin)  Who's counting?

I'm trying to get as many people as possible to respond to this, so please pass this link on to your Yuwie friends:

I've been wanting to ask people how they found Yuwie and I just saw (and answered) your blog about it.

I want to post something similar, but don't want to make it seem like I'm stealing your idea without giving you some credit.

How about I post my own, in my own words, and do what you did to the person who gave YOU the idea, by posting a 'cilck here to see more responses' ?

That would be perfect. You might have to change your settings to post in your own blog. When I first tried to post on myb own blog it said, " this user only allows friends to post comments" I changed it so that anyone could post comments and then I could post comments in my blogs and on my profile.

A friend I'd played online rpg's with for several years sent me an invite. I am that person's referral. Since then I've left those games & stayed with Yuwie. I'd been at myspace...but this place has been a lot more... sane. lol!

I was invited by someone who had my e-mail. He was a mutual friend at myspace. It happened to be Billy Redfield the singer. Come to think of it he never thanked me. Oh well. lol

Yes it's happening all over and if you go to the Congo they have Christmas ads up all year (although I suppose for a country of pverty it is just easier keeping them up).

The thing is tha Christmas is no longer Christmas. Like Valentines day and other holidays celebrated all over, the menaing got hijacked by commercialisation and corporations. It is terrible!

ANd yes, they only do it so that people will start spending money earlier.

I have gotten into the habit of ignoring Christmas until about the 16th of December, and spending it with family, with smaller presents and such. THis year we are looking into doing a midnight mass (not because we are catholic) or a candle ceremony or a carol celebration instead of the noraml celebrations. Just to get a feeling of how some other people celebrate this day.

I followed my friend Angela here (see first person in my top friends), she mentioned it on myspace, so I came to see what she was talking about.
