Weekend in Calgary
This film shows the frantic pace of life today in contrast to the supposedly less frantic weekend activities. It was shown at the $100 film festival, Calgary 1992 and won the jury prize for consistent vision. It was shown at the "Splice This!" festival in Toronto in June 1998.

The music was written and performed by James Reckseidler in 2007. http://www.youtube.com/user/reckseidlerfilms

The Fence

Who Shot the President
Line of Taxis

we tend to do more on the weekend. On the week days we wake up go to work spend 8-10 hrs circling the same space with the same people 5 days a week sometimes 6 days a week.

We're fortunate to live out of town yet close enough to the city for those few occassions we need to go there.

That was great. I think that is much to fast a pace for me.

Not sure why but I am not able to watch the clip - it errors out before it starts playing.

Too bad -

I really liked this one! I always find it ironic that we feel we have to drive 6 hrs. through freeway traffic to get away! : -) BTW, The 'Who shot the President' film is an interesting one!
