I joined yesterday after seeing a similar gimmick that is only for Europe.
This is NOT another stupid get-rich-quick. It's just an awesome bonus for doing a normal internets activity.
My favorite thing so far? - Firefox search plug in.
- I stopped using Google as the default search and now use Winzy.
- By using the Firefox plugin, I get double search points.
Basic run down:
- Winzy uses Ask.com and Yahoo.com search results.
- Revenue from the advertising (in searches) goes towards prizes.
- Prizes range from a few points to Amazon.com gift cards to money to several points, and sometimes iPods.
- Each search is another entry (or two if you have the toolbar or plugin) into the monthly raffle for whatever the big prize is.
- In addition to raffles, each search is another chance to win an instant prize - usually with their wheel of prizes.
I recommend this?

- It's all free and easy to use.
- Gold Star membership requires only using their toolbar or firefox plugin.
- Ask.com and Yahoo.com search results are pretty good.
- A small bonus in addition to searching - pretty awesome.
- It's not a community site, but when you refer people they become your friend.
- 250 bonus points for referring someone.
- 5 bonus points for each view of their banners (like the one above)
- Firefox and Internet Explorer friendly.
- Three basic games to win more raffle entries.

So...yeah... It's not at all a get-rich-quick thing. It's just a little extra awesome for when you need to search the internets. Easy to use, free to use, without having several members spam you with bunches of messages about their get-rich-quick things.
...I just wish someone I knew already had an account, so I could help them out. In addition to 250 extra points, any prize I win, would go to them also. Eh...oh well...
