Audit Your Yuwie Site

Do an audit of your Yuwie website.
Really look at it.
Does it answer the question straight up WHY
someone would want to get their own Yuwie site?

While you are looking at your site, ask yourself a few more questions.

Is all the text readable? This is so important.
If you can't read it, other people certainly can't

When people go to your options box to message you or leave comments does the cursor display correctly on the buttons?
Many times I will go to rate someone and instead I get, "do you really want to block this person". Don't let that happen.

Do you have to scroll left and right to see the whole page. Sometimes people don't want to do that.

Does your profile photo display a suitable image? If you don't have a profile pic, get a free one here.

Do you have music that blares and scares people when they arrive to your site? I would suggest playing no audio at all. Let them click to turn on your music player.

Do you have a lot of clutter on your site? I would suggest keeping only those things that are important to you.

It's never too early to do some spring cleaning.

Just to add my feelings, Noel hit on some of my major concerns when visiting others profiles: I hate music that blasts my ears and I have to adjust the volume of my computer, I hate not being able to read the scr i pt cuz it's blinking or buried in the busy layout ... I shouldn't have to do a control  C in order to read what you wrote. I detest not seeing a real life picture of whom the site belongs to .. please folks put up a photo of yourself ! And the biggest concern he addressed is in trying to give you a rating and it comes up 'blocked' because it's not aligned properly. Check it please. You are so right on everything Noel. A perfect blog. Thanks for allowing me to share. Now everyone go add him if you haven't yet. :)
