Hi thought I'd just let you know, if you haven't read that Dan Weaver's 3 Cash Machine is indeed gone for the time being, it sounds to me (reading between the lines as I often do) that some one, or a competitor has "stiched him up" as we say in UK - i.e somebody has dobbed his website into google so they somehow mange to completely block just about anyone from getting into it - I've never heard of google doing a denial of service attack before on a website just because it has a scr i pt error!?????????!, as it's normally something hackers do - so if it isn't really google but someone blackmailing them - then I guess they succeeeded pretty well as I sure as hell can't get into my account through firefox or IE, which mean's the IP or domain must have some kind of 'hook' / redirect on it that bypasses the website hosting provider and domain provider etc. - which is crazy - anyway it's gone for the forseeable future.
I just want to thank Dan for having the curtesy to e-mail us members and let us know. I will be joining up to the next version - as the system was a good one - but if "unknown forces" decide to screw over your website, there is little a webmaster can do about it, I just want to say that having used the system, I personally found nothing wrong with it, I've used alot of systems over the 8 years I've been on-line, and this one followed the same steps that many marketing system follow, so why it got singled out for attack by google is beyond me - which is why I can only suspect rivalry of some sort, that we are not privy to.
The E-mail:
We regret to inform you that a decision has been made to
temporarily close the 3CM.
As you may or may not know, Google flagged the3cashmachine.com
as an 'attack site' on the 29th of June 2009 (two weeks ago).
Since this date we have carried out a number of comprehensive
reviews on both the website and its database and No malicious
coding was found. We then took the steps to upload a fresh
version of the site and carried out a number of tests. Once we
were satisfied we then submitted the site to Google for a re-review...
The Review is Still Pending!
We have tried on several occasions to contact Google for support.
BUT it's nearly impossible to talk to a 'real person' at Google.
They seem very reluctant to publish any type of contact details
on their site.
We was finally able to find a telephone number on a directory
site, but this only took me to an automated telephone service.
We've carried out some research on a couple of webmaster forums
and the general opinion of Google is... you have to wait... and wait...
until that THEY deicide to look at your site again. This could
take a week or it could take several months...
there's no guarantee with Google.
And so we have been left with a dilemma... Should the 3CM stay open?
We are still receiving members (as some people are still able
to access the site)... But the daily sign ups have dropped by
almost 90%. This means that those people that HAVE been able
to join and set up their systems (and the people that are still
actively promoting the system) will be wasting time, energy and
money. With just over 10% of internet users able to access the
site, the chances of making your 3CM system work are very small.
So we feel morally obliged to tell our members to stop promoting
the 3CM. Our hands are tied and our only option is to be patient,
while we wait for Google to respond.
We suggest that you take the necessary steps needed to ensure
that you don't lose any money during the down time. Some of
you may have GDI accounts that have less then 10 members, so
you may wish to close these accounts. All 'paid' advertising
should be canceled immediately. The signup page will be replaced
with a temporary information page within the next 24 hours.
This will include a form, which will allow visitors to opt in
to receive a re-launch notification email. If any of these
visitors arrive via your referral link, they will still be
logged as one of your referrals.
The support desk will also be closed until further notice.
We will keep you up to date on any progress via the 3CM
newsletter. We will still send out the odd promotional email.
This is how we fund the 3CM and your support is greatly
appreciated during these times of crisis.
May I take this opportunity to offer you my sincerest apologies.
I realize that there will be many people that have lost out in
one way or another due to this incident. And I can't apologies
enough. There are some cruel people in this world, that don't
think about the people they harm, when committing internet
crime.
I truly hope that we are able to re-launch the 3CM very soon.
I would like to thank everyone for their continued commitment,
hard work and support over the past year. And this will hopefully
continue for many years to come.
We will be in contact shortly,
Yours Sincerely,
Dan and the 3CM Team
