Save the Mojave Veterans Memorial Cross
For over 400 years, God has been central to our American civilization... but that may be coming to an end.
It was in 1607 that the Jamestown colonists erected a wooden cross at Cape Henry to give thanks to God for safe passage across the Atlantic Ocean.
In 1934, a group of veterans erected a cross in the Mojave Desert of California to honor their fellow veterans who had died in combat.
Now, in 2009, the extreme liberal ACLU says the Mojave Cross must be torn down because it is "too offensive."
Do you agree with the ACLU?

The ACLU is trying to remove the cross at the Mojave memorial honoring our fallen veterans, and this case will be going before the Supreme Court this year!

The ACLU has proven that they'll stop at nothing to try to ban all public religious expression in our country:
- The ACLU has sued to prevent school children from reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
- The ACLU has sued to remove our national motto, "In God We Trust," from our currency.
- The ACLU has targeted the Boy Scouts for destruction because they're offended by the Scouts' embrace of traditional values.
And now the ACLU has taken a case all the way to the Supreme Court to try to tear down a cross honoring our nation's fallen veterans.
This is a memorial that has had the support of veterans and a vast majority of the public for 75 years now.
But then, an atheist activist -- who doesn't even live in the same state as the cross and memorial -- sued to have the "offending" cross torn down.
Naturally, the left-wing lawyers at the ACLU quickly championed the case. Public opinion and the will of the people have never meant much to these radicals.
Anywhere people dare to show their faith in public... the ACLU takes it as its duty to snuff it out.
And the ACLU found a like-minded audience in the liberal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, who ruled that the memorial must be destroyed.
Remember, the 9th Circuit is the very same court that ruled that the Pledge of Allegiance was unconstitutional!
Now the case is in the hands of the United States Supreme Court.

If the ACLU wins this case, then no religious symbol will be safe anywhere in America...
- An engraving on the top of the Washington Monument that reads "Laus Deo" -- Praise be to God -- would have to be scrubbed from the beloved monument's capstone.
- The words "In God We Trust" would have to be removed from above the Speaker's chair in the House Chamber of the U.S. Capitol.
- Even the Supreme Court itself features a sculpture of Moses and the Ten Commandments that would soon be removed if the ACLU wins this case!
If the ACLU wins... even the crosses and stars of David in Arlington National Cemetery could be at risk!
That's how important this fight is.

Quite frankly, I'm concerned that we may not have enough common-sense judges who understand the Constitution on the Supreme Court to win this case.
I'm so concerned that I've decided to file an Amicus Brief to the Supreme Court to make the case that the ACLU's argument is completely unsupported by the Constitution.
And I'm being supported by many of my closest friends and allies... not the least of which includes my team at my new organization, Renewing American Leadership.
I formed Renewing American Leadership (ReAL) to fight these kinds of battles... and now I'm relying on them to help us win this Supreme Court case against the ACLU.
